Back in the day, strange wasn't only frowned upon, but burned at the stake as well. Nowadays, anything strange, crazy, or downright bizarre is accepted with open arms. Humans might not have warmed up to their (fellow) bizarre humans, but they're certainly embracing strange fashion trends, Lady GaGa, and just lately - weird furniture. This just goes to show that man has carried his imagination beyond its limits, allowing it to influence even the most mundane things.
Whether or not you want these weird chairs in your home, you have to admit they're beyond awesome. Just how creative and free-spirited can someone be to design these chairs? Let's take a closer look.
1. The Ghost Chair Collection

Sit if you dare! These out-of-this-world chairs are bound to make any home a wee bit spookier. Made of plexiglass, these chairs have ghost-like forms inside them ready to scare the crap out of you in the middle of the night. Apparently, the designers were aiming for a futuristic look.
Land diving is a ritual practiced by the males from the southern part of Pentecost Island, Vanuatu. During this ritual, males jump from wood towers about 66 to 98 ft high, having two vines twisted around the ankles and it is all performed without having safety gear.
How was your main entree? Great, glad you enjoyed it. Would you like to see the dessert menu? Our specials today are an X-rated pudding, tomato soup cake and an ice cream sundae that will set you back the same price as a new car. It costs HOW much?!

The dessert world was rocked a few years ago by the unveiling of a $3,333.33 ice cream sundae, made with three rare dessert wines and presented with a mid-19th century ice cream spoon. If you ordered ahead, your sundae would be accompanied by a cellist too; high class dining indeed. But this self-billed "World's Most Expensive Ice Cream Sundae" was soon blown out of the water by New York restaurant Serendipity-3's "Frrrozen Haute Chocolate", a dessert that boasts 28 of the world's most expensive cocoas and is served up in a goblet lined with 23-karat edible gold. The price? A cool $25,000.
Erm, Isn’t that a bit rude?
In Japan, men can fulfill their foodie fetishes with breast-shaped puddings (those who have tried them say they're pretty milky). Talking of boobs, the Japanese are also proud pioneers of the breast-enhancing cookie, each one laced with 50mg of Pueraria Mirifica. Assumedly if you eat enough, even if your chest remains flat, your stomach won't. If you're a male in need of a boost meanwhile, finish off your meal with a scoop of Venezuelan Viagra ice cream (although there’s no proof this stuff actually works). Those wanting to get their hands dirty and bake their own naughty-but-nice goods need look no further than Edward Jaye's Cookie Sutra recipe book. Yup, it's pretty much what you’d imagine it to be.
No way am I eating that!
The Japanese seem to rather dominate the arena of bizarre desserts so it's little surprise that they've branched out into the downright disgusting too. Akita-based Komatsuya are the producers of Youchu Choco, little delicacies made out of chocolate (yum), cornflakes (yum), orange peel (yum) and dried squid (not yum), all cleverly crafted to look like... beetle larva (erm...). You might want to sprinkle your Youchu Choco over a dish of Japanese ice cream; take your pick from squid gut, jellyfish, soy sauce or charcoal flavor. You know you want to.
No way am I eating that! Well, on second thought...
Not only does deep fried Coke sound gross, it also sounds somewhat impossible to make. How exactly DO you deep fry Coke? In fact it's a concoction of batter, Coca-Cola syrup, strawberry syrup and real strawberries. Mmm, actually that sounds pretty toothsome (if tooth-rotting). If you're looking to sneak one of your five a day into a dessert, look no further than the tomato soup cake – a simple recipe consisting of water, eggs, spice cake mix and, yes, a can of tomato soup. Apparently it's delicious. Speaking of veggie cakes, beets and zucchini also make great alternatives to the carrot, and both compliment chocolate surprisingly well. Honestly.
The Guinness World Records is the biggest selling copyrighted book on the planet to date. There are some truly amazing world records in there that will never be forgotten. The world’s firsts, largest, tallest, longest, shortest achievements can be found in the book and to be in it means to be remembered forever. However, along with all the amazing feats in the book, there are
The fountain of youth has long been the holy grail for many
people throughout the history of humanity. Legends and lore have been
written about individuals who achieved immortality and finally
surmounted the primal hurdle that is age. Many in the 21st century
continued the search for a remedy to the merciless ravages of time, both
in mainstream and alternative medicine through the use of technology,
science and hocus-pocus, and the age of the internet has allowed the
unchecked propagation of countless ludicrous
‘theories’ on how we can stop time dead in its
tracks. Here are some of the strangest, least scientific, most
mystifying anti-aging solutions from history. In case you watched Stalking Cat, popular youtube video, you are going to like this one in which a creepy looking guy slowly gets closer to its target without being detected.

Simply the weirdest thing you will see these days. Chinese artist Lu Yang's most recent project “Revived Zombie Frogs Underwater Ballet,” included three elements you do not usually come across in a sentence: frog, ballet, and even zombie. This frogs bodies, halves of their bodies in fact, which are chosen, are suspended in liquid and manipulated using MIDI controller, and once the beat occurs, the frog is pumped with sufficient electric power to produce a twitchy response. Please be aware that dead frog bodies initially used in a medical dissection experiment have been re-used in this work.
This is like the maximum trolling version of a speed bump. The person who created this bizarre speed bump should be wondering what might happen in case an ambulance in emergency, or maybe police needs to passover it?

As a huge Half-Life admirer as I am, I really could not have the following. Anywhere the item went, I could hardly step under it. This specific Half-Life Barnacle by artist Daniel Ritthanondh is without a doubt amazingly detailed as well as realistic, yet it is way too scary to actually use in any decent residence.
This is by far the most bizarre video recording I have seen today. During this video clip Norwegian guy skates on thin ice, swims unclothed, takes advantage of chainsaw to cut ice, and the most crucial element, drinks vodka.
