None of that is worth anything. $600 worth of college textbooks? Really? That's worth $300 at BEST, and you would have to spend so much time in the Returns/Exhanges line just to find out you do still need the receipt if you want them. The iPod and GPS would be obsolete in a couple of days. The laptop contains all of your data, so he was probably just trying to piss you off for not owning anything worthwhile...
