you guys are aware that to split h2o molecules you need electricity. more so then if you where to just power it by electricity.

    "water powered" my ass.
these cars are hydrogen powered, which means they need voltage.

and what is wrong with super unleaded? in europe that is standart.

The sad part is you still have to drive one of those around, and be seen in that thing.

To the person who is complaining it needs electricity, please let me know where I can fill up my pure electric car on a cross country drive in 5 minutes. If there's a pure electric car that doesn't have mass limitations I'd be game.

I see the only benefit is parking. What if you get hit by a bycicle? Will you survive?

parking with a Smart can be easy, but in the same time someone with a slightly bigger car can park above you

I need a plug in battery/turbo bio-diesel smart car. I have joined the retired realm, so I do not need huge acceleration. I grow a huge garden and may even rent a field to grow Hemp (Now legal in Canada) to make bio-diesel for my Smart car. I will stay away from the frantic Hummer crowd and travel mostly quiet back roads for full motoring enjoyment, a lost pleasure to the current power crazies on the freeways! North America is changing. the paradigm shift is propelled by ever rising costs. A simpler, cheaper life is available through modern technology. I hope a relaxed, intelligent lifestyle will slow global warming before it is too late. I am old, so for me it doesn't really matter, but for you it may be more important than consumerism and slothfull living for only a short whikle!
