I like the way they were taking time (for which they are paid by the government) to trap a tax-payer's car.
Congratulations.

^^^ your a piece of shit cynical asshole. you are exactly the type of person to park your car like this because you pay taxes. we all pay taxes. too fucking much if you ask me and if these guys making not nearly enough money want to vent their frustration in a non-destructive way power to them. fuck ass.

"Fuck ass".

Looks to me like they actually saved time, and therefore money, because they didn't roll the bins all the way back to their parking spot.

Oh, and those are private haulers.

We all pay taxes, including the guys who get paid from tax-payer money. If you want to play it that way, there was more than one trash guy and one retard who blocked the trash bins.

The trash guys saved time by not having to put the bins all the way back and forcing the jerk who illegally parked to do it.

The only guy who wasted anyone's time and money is the guy who parked there.

"...these guys making not nearly enough..."

And... yeah. Let's go back to Econ 101, shall we. If they weren't making "enough," they'd be doing something else. I presume these men weren't forced at gunpoint to take their jobs. It's called a free job market and it sets wages and allocates workers based on the supply of people able and willing to do the work and the need for that work.

Moving garbage will be paid better than a less messy job requiring the same skill level simply because there will be fewer people willing to do it. The fact that they're there in their uniforms says quite explicitly that they ARE paid "enough."

when you use they're, there, and their each spelled correctly in the same sentence; I am happy to read your comments.

Or they might be in those uniforms because they are unable to find a better job. But of course in Econ 101 everyone nails the perfect job the first time they try.

This is the best way to get someone to think about their actions though. Yes, he might become angry to find his car blocked in, but he will likely be wondering why someone would do that. In general people do not care or think about the other people they exist around except those they know or are close to. The guy who parked right there likely didn't think anything about it (but he will when he gets back :P).

It's hard not to admire the simplicity of the ECON 101 world-view. Of course there are many that believe that it doesn't work so well at ensuring a livable wage for low-skilled (commoditized) workers. (And still others argue that that is not a bad thing...) Regardless, the claim that they would find a new job if they weren't paid "enough" is naive.

On the other hand, I know I've heard that trash pickup guys do OK :)

For all you whiny punks who didn't like what they did, I'd bet you're the ones who park in HC zones who don't need to.
I'd like to see the HC people do this.
